Interface Engineering - art for all website

Description: A website for a charity organisation called art for all. The purpose of this assignment was to design a website for this charity, that focused on making the site accessible for novice / expert users and for the range of skills / abilities that people have; spatial awareness, visual etc. The report that accompanied this website design can be viewed here.

Content Design - Newsletter

Description: A newsletter about a geological association. All the content in the newsletter was made up or based on current news stories. The purpose was to put into practice what we had been taught about good content layout and typography styles.

Character Animation

Description: A character animation built using Maya and MotionBuilder. The characters were rigged in Maya, which invovled creating the skeletal structures and binding them to a skin before exporting them into MotionBuilder and adding motion capture data to the characters to create an animation sequence. More difficult parts to the animation also involved keyframe animation. The city came pre-built as well as the character skin.

3D fairground Ride

Description: A 3D model of a rollercoaster with an animated cart that follows the track. The entire evnrionment was created in Maya and motion path animation was then used to animate the cart along the rollercoaster track. The sequence was created by rendering various camera views in Maya and composing these sequences using Premiere.

2D Game

Description: A 2D Game created in Adobe flash. The game consists of 2 levels and was coded in Actionscript 3.0. The characters and textures were created in Photoshop. You have 3 lives to complete the game. if you would like to play click here.

Photoshare website

Description: A website created to allow users to upload, explore and share there photos online, similar to the website www.flickr.com. Unfortunately as i no longer have the sql database that was used, the site is not functionable. Click the above images to view these pages.
